VS/AM 65

Direct-operated relief valve, VS/AM 65 by Pietro Fiorentini is a safety device which vents gas when the system pressure exceeds the set value due to temporary events, such as expansion due to rise in gas temperature or downstream pressure shocks caused by sudden changes of flow rate.

Strongly recommended for medium and low pressure gas distribution networks, this device can be used with natural gas and previously filtered non-corrosive gases.

• Design pressure: 290 psig | 2 MPa
• Maximum allowable overpressure: 7 psig | 50 kPa for BP, 14.5 psig | 100 kPa for MP, 145 psig | 1 MPa for TR
• Inlet pressure range bpu: from 0.4″ wc to 290 psig | 100 kPa to 2 MPa
• Regulation range (Who): from 6″ wc to 2.1 psig | 1.5 kPa to 15 kPa for BP, from 2.2 psig to 7.2 psig | 15 kPa to 50 kPa for MP, from 7.3 psig to 101 psig | 50 kPa to 700 kPa for TR
• Accuracy class AC: 2.5, 5, 10
• Design temperature: from -4 °F to +140 °F | -20 °C to +60 °C
